The only villa Franco Albini designed in Milan — opened to the public for the first time in 87 years.

Built between 1938 and 1939 and published by Gio Ponti in Domus the same year, Villa Pestarini is considered one of the masterpieces of Italian Rationalism. For Milan Design Week 2026, the villa opened its doors for the first time as part of Alcova's eleventh edition, hosting a Cassina exhibition curated by Patricia Urquiola — featuring re-editions of Albini's own Veliero bookcase and Luisa chair.
